A life is a few bytes.
Island number, brain, generations, and the log hash of each generation. That is everything needed to bring the fly back. Today the record lives in a link — nothing about it is on chain yet.
A fly's whole life fits in one tiny record: the island, the brain, and one hash per generation. Paste a record, or pick an island. This page lives that life again in your browser — twice — and checks every hash. If even one byte differs, you will see it.
Island number, brain, generations, and the log hash of each generation. That is everything needed to bring the fly back. Today the record lives in a link — nothing about it is on chain yet.
The page loads the same pure engine the exam server grades with, and runs the lineage from the record alone. No server, no account, no trust in us.
Every generation's hash must match. Two runs in this browser, and the record if you pasted one. The same engine matched 1,260 of 1,260 checks across arm64 Chrome and x64 Node.
HONEST SCOPE The escape reflex is a simplified model inspired by fruit-fly connectome research, not a complete fly brain. “Immortal” here means something precise: the life can be brought back exactly, by anyone, forever. No fly feels anything. Nothing is on sale here today.
